DIY CNC
The DIYLILCNC an open-source set of plans to make a fully functional CNC mill for around $700 (that’s about £419.49 in real money)! Created by two Chicago based artists, it’s a pretty incredible project to undertake and a fantastic opportunity for perhaps smaller businesses or creative students to access computer controlled prototyping facilities.

Form via Function
I’m taking a trip to Deutschland soon, and plan to partake in a pilgrimage to the design mecca - The Bauhaus. Not the museum in Berlin, the actual Bauhaus where the much talked about design modernism movement came about in the early 20th century.
